Full-Service Administration – From the First Step to Handover

At EcoModul, it is especially important for us that the building process for our clients is not only fast and predictable, but also smooth from an administrative point of view. The permitting process is often complex and time-consuming, requiring compliance with numerous legal regulations and local requirements.

Our expert team provides full support throughout the entire process: from design and obtaining permits to the start of construction, you can rely on us at every step.

Why Is Permitting Important?

Building a structure is not only a technical matter but also requires legal and regulatory compliance. The permitting process ensures that the building meets local building codes, urban planning requirements, as well as safety and environmental regulations.

A properly prepared and approved design not only provides advantages during inspections but also ensures long-term security for the use and future sale of the property.

How Does the Permitting Process Work?

Initial Consultation

The first step is to review the characteristics of the plot and local building regulations. We assess what type and size of building can be placed on the site and what construction possibilities are available.

Preparation of Design Documentation

We prepare the necessary architectural and technical plans that form the basis of the permitting process. This includes floor plans, sections, elevations, and all documents required by authorities.

Technical Coordination

If necessary, we involve specialist designers (structural, mechanical, electrical) and coordinate with utility providers. This ensures that the building is technically sound and fully functional.

Submission of Permit Application

Once the full documentation is prepared, we submit the permit application to the relevant authority. We follow the process closely and handle any requests for additional information if needed.

Approval and Start of Construction

After the permit is granted, construction can begin. At this point, you can be confident that the building fully complies with legal requirements.

Which Buildings Require a Permit?

Permit requirements depend on the size, function, and local regulations of the building. In general, any building over 50 m² intended for human occupancy requires proper design documentation and either a notification or building permit.

However, even smaller structures may be subject to notification requirements, so it is always recommended to check in advance. We also assist with this to avoid future complications.
